Direct support to the responsible accountant and interaction with departments Position: Accounting Assistant – Accounting Firm Our accounting firm, specialized in serving small and medium-sized enterprises, is seeking an **Accounting Assistant with proven experience**. **Responsibilities:** * Perform high-volume, accurate accounting journal entries and reconciliations; * Classify expenses and revenues in accordance with current legislation; * Support tax calculation and preparation of ancillary obligations; * Participate in the preparation of Balance Sheets, Income Statements (DRE), and other financial statements; * Provide direct support to the responsible accountant and interact with tax and labor departments. **Mandatory Requirements (Eliminatory):** * **Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an accounting firm (evidenced by employment record or prior contract);** * Proficiency in standard accounting routines, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing; * Familiarity with integrated accounting systems and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel); * Degree in Accounting Sciences (currently pursuing or completed). **Candidates without proven experience in an accounting firm will not be considered.** **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working with companies under Simples Nacional, Lucro Presumido, and Lucro Real tax regimes; * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team; * Organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and attention to deadlines. **We Offer:** * Structured and collaborative professional environment; * Real growth opportunity within the firm; * Competitive remuneration aligned with experience; * Benefits to be discussed. **Location:** Vila da Penha – Rio de Janeiro/RJ Employment Type: Permanent CLT Salary: R$2\.000,00 \- R$3\.500,00 per month Benefits: * Health insurance * Life insurance * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Experience: * Accounting (Mandatory)
