**Job Description: Metalworker** **Position:** Metalworker (Industrial Metalworker / Structural Metalworker) **Responsibilities:** Fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain metal structures, gates, grilles, stairs, handrails, mezzanines, roofing systems, and other components made of carbon steel or stainless steel, in accordance with technical drawings, safety regulations, and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication/assembly schematics * Cut, bend, drill, weld, and rivet metal parts (plates, structural profiles, tubes, angles, etc.) * Operate metalworking machinery and tools (band saw, angle grinder, drill, bending machine, guillotine shear, MIG/MAG welder, TIG welder, shielded metal arc welder, oxy-fuel cutting equipment, etc.) * Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel * Assemble and install metal structures on-site or in the workshop * Perform finishing tasks (grinding, painting) * Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing metal structures * Accurately measure and mark materials * Monitor material consumption and minimize waste * Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization * Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations (NR-35, NR-18, NR-12, etc.) **Mandatory Requirements** * Proven experience as a metalworker (minimum 2–3 years) * Solid welding knowledge (MIG/MAG essential; TIG and SMAW are advantageous) * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Proficiency with hand tools and metalworking machinery * Knowledge of light and heavy metal structures * Willingness to work at heights (when required) Valid driver’s license — desirable Employment type: Full-time CLT Salary: R$2,200.00 – R$4,000.00 per month
