Assistance in compliance with current legislation **Reymaster**, a market reference in electrical materials, is expanding and looking for a **Tax Assistant** to join its team. This professional will support departmental routines, ensuring accurate recording of tax documents, organization of information, and fulfillment of ancillary obligations. The role involves collaborative work with the team, assisting in tax calculation, control of tax files, and compliance with current legislation—contributing to the security and efficiency of departmental processes. * Record incoming, service, and return invoices in the ERP system, verifying essential data such as CFOP, CST, tax rates, and due dates; * Sort tax documents by type and purpose (e.g., inputs, services, transfers, returns); * Cross-check invoices against purchase orders or contracts, flagging discrepancies to the responsible team; * Assist in calculating indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS) according to the company’s tax regime; * Support generation, verification, and submission of ancillary obligations (e.g., SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, GIA, DIME, REINF); * Perform verification and control of input and output tax ledgers; * Issue tax payment slips when necessary, under leadership supervision; * Organize and archive electronic tax documents (XMLs and DANFEs), ensuring easy traceability; * Conduct queries on state or federal portals to validate documents, registrations, and tax rules; * Verify NCMs, CSTs, and CFOPs in invoices and reports, flagging inconsistencies for correction; * Support verification of tax withholdings (IRRF, INSS, ISS, CSRF), where applicable; * Complete spreadsheets for controlling tax documents and departmental KPIs; * Provide basic tax support to internal departments (sales, procurement, accounts payable, accounting); * Assist in preparing documents and information for internal/external audits and tax inspections; * Monitor current tax legislation and implement instructions received from leadership and tax analysts; * Contribute to organizing and updating departmental operational procedures. Requirements * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences or related fields; * 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in accounting, tax, or finance areas; * Basic knowledge of tax and financial routines; * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency; * Basic mathematics knowledge; * Fundamental computer literacy.
