Job Summary: Professional responsible for handling and segregation of baggage and cargo at airports, ensuring aircraft and operational safety, with attention to detail and analytical capability. Aircraft servicing and equipment inspection Description: * Completed high school education; * Good interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability in assessing situations; * Stress resistance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing duties, trunk rotation and flexion, physical exertion, and ambulation throughout the entire operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, aircraft loading and unloading (luggage and cargo), flight-related signaling, floor inspection and sweeping to collect fallen objects, and auditory perception for identifying audible signals from equipment and machinery on the tarmac. Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational skills, data interpretation, and initiative in resolving causal situations. * Ensure aircraft safety during arrivals and departures; * Verify and monitor baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client’s Manual or dnata’s MGO; * Perform volume segregation in airport sorting areas by reading baggage and cargo identification labels (with or without technological assistance), aiming to load them into storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Stow baggage and cargo in aircraft holds following norms and procedures outlined in the MGO, adhering to recommendations for special situations (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable cargo); * Unload baggage and cargo by reading volume identification labels, placing them at designated locations (retrieval carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate inter-flight connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and supervise cargo and baggage packaging, verifying proper suitability for transportation to ensure flight and handler safety; * Correctly handle and allocate baggage and cargo into holds, observing internal restraint and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers, placing them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent fuselage collisions; * Service aircraft within established timeframes per service type and airport classification; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and direct equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment irregularities during operations to supervisors. 2511070202301574695
