Job Summary: Responsible for the operational control of the exchange department, ensuring organization, identification, and movement of products, and contributing to loss reduction and operational efficiency. Support in loss reduction and operational efficiency Responsible for the operational control of the unit's exchange department, performing activities related to separation, identification, organization, storage, system entry, and tracking of products designated for exchanges and losses. Manages control of products sent to the Distribution Center, made available for pickup by suppliers, or directed for disposal, ensuring compliance with internal procedures. Conducts verifications, monitors pending items, maintains department organization, and supports the Inventory and Commercial departments in identifying discrepancies, unregistered products, and opportunities for reuse—contributing to loss reduction, inventory control, and store operational efficiency. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform daily separation of products designated for exchanges and losses; * Classify products according to destination: store exchange, Distribution Center exchange, or loss; * Organize products by supplier, category, and type of movement; * Identify stored products within the department; * Ensure that exchange and loss products are stored correctly; * Maintain the exchange department clean, organized, and operationally suitable; * Record exchanges and losses in the system; * Monitor products pending shipment to the Distribution Center or pickup by suppliers; * Support preparation of goods for shipment according to internal procedures; * Assist in verification of products designated for exchanges and losses; * Check products stored for extended periods and flag pending items; * Identify unregistered products or information discrepancies; * Notify responsible personnel from the Inventory and Commercial departments for necessary adjustments; * Support analysis of products that may be utilized by the unit per internal guidance; * Monitor communications and discussions related to the department; * Comply with internal procedures for exchange, loss, and product movement control; * Ensure workplace organization, cleanliness, and maintenance. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory** * Completed elementary education; * Organization and attention to detail; * Ability to follow internal procedures and controls; Responsibility in handling and organizing products; * **Desirable** * Completed high school education; * Experience in inventory, warehouse, goods verification, or merchandise control; * Knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP; * Experience in the supermarket sector. **Additional Information** **Benefits** -------------- * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance * Life insurance **Work Schedule** ----------- * 44-hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday
