Job Summary: Operate sheet metal bending machines, adjust settings, and interpret technical drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards, performing visual inspections and basic maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operation and programming of sheet metal bending machines 2. Interpretation of technical drawings and quality inspection 3. Basic maintenance and collaboration within the production team **OBJECTIVE** Operate sheet metal bending machines, adjusting configurations according to product specifications. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to perform bends accurately. Conduct visual inspections on produced parts, verifying dimensions, finish, and compliance with quality standards. Adjust and calibrate bending machines to ensure operational precision. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** · Interpret drawings and program the machine with operations for each part type; · Program the bending machine according to each material to be bent (thicknesses); · Verify parts using tape measure, caliper, and protractor; · Perform minor maintenance tasks, parameter adjustments, lubrication, and cleaning of the machine; · Operate overhead crane when required; · Perform basic maintenance on machines and report irregularities; · Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety at the workstation; · Follow safety regulations and wear mandatory PPE; · Collaborate efficiently and effectively with the production team.
