Monitoring of tax legislation Job Description: Position: Tax/Accounting Assistant Department: Accounting and Tax Level: Junior/Assistant Responsibilities: Assist in posting and reconciling tax and accounting documents in the company's system. Perform tax calculations and verification (ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL, among others). Prepare and submit ancillary obligations such as SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, DCTF, ECF, and DIRF. Verify input, output, and service invoices to ensure correct application of tax rules. Support accounting and tax closing, ensuring all information is properly recorded and organized. Assist in preparing accounting reports and financial statements for audits and managerial analysis. Monitor changes in tax legislation and suggest necessary adjustments. Requirements: Education: Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience: Prior experience in tax and accounting routines is a plus. Skills: Knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation. Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Tools: Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (intermediate/advanced level). Knowledge of systems such as Domínio, Protheus, or similar is a plus. Advantages: Experience in tax calculation for companies under Simples Nacional, Presumed Profit, and Real Profit regimes. Certification in accounting or tax-related areas. Continuous updating on changes in fiscal legislation.
