




**Objectives of this role** * Preparing budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documents. * Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms. * Managing project budgets, including cost forecasting and monitoring. * Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all costs and financial transactions related to the project. * Providing specialized consultancy on procurement, risk management, and cost reduction measures. **Your responsibilities** * Understanding client requirements and conducting quantity take-offs based on markings and reinforced concrete drawings. * Preparing the bill of quantities (BOQ) by studying technical data sheets provided by the sales team. * Identifying gaps between the budget and drawings, specifications, and contract conditions, and seeking logical resolutions for them. * Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the entire project, identifying opportunities for cost reduction. * Participating in pre\-tender activities with the client, architect, and project managers, and raising relevant pre\-tender issues regarding the tender in question. * Preparing the initial budget and contract for the company’s sales team. * Coordinating with the project team to review architectural and installation drawings. * Managing the assessment of work performed and handling claims and variations. * Preparing interim and final valuations, site variations, and claims. * Conducting feasibility studies and value engineering exercises. * Collaborating with stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and achieve the best cost\-benefit ratio. **Your daily routine** * **Cost Estimation:** Analyses plans and designs to calculate material, labour, equipment, and transportation costs. * **Financial Feasibility:** Conducts studies to verify whether a proposed project is financially viable. * **Proposal Development:** Prepares tenders, contracts, and proposal packages with bills of quantities. * **Risk Management:** Identifies potential risks (e.g., weather, delays, changes) and plans mitigation strategies. * **Cost Control:** Monitors ongoing projects to ensure expenditures remain within budget. * **Contract Management:** Negotiates contracts, manages subcontractors, and resolves contractual disputes. * **Reporting:** Provides progress reports and cost analysis to stakeholders. * **Consultancy:** Advises clients and teams on the most economical and efficient solutions.
