Import/Export Analyst

Description

Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for analyzing import/export feasibility, classifying products, monitoring supply and shipment progress, and negotiating with suppliers. Key Highlights: 1. Analyze product feasibility and tariff classification. 2. Monitor supply and progress of imported shipments. 3. Negotiate prices, procurement terms, and provide support to management. \- Analyze the feasibility of importing and exporting products \- Evaluate correct tariff classification of products \- Monitor supply of all imported products \- Monitor shipment progress until delivery \- Close import cost and tax calculations \- Conduct market research \- Request samples from suppliers for technical approval \- Negotiate prices and procurement terms \- Review and correct shipping documents \- Request and follow up on customs broker procedures \- Resolve batch discrepancies with suppliers \- Support the purchasing manager and management.
