We are seeking a **Construction Engineer** to join our team. **Responsibilities and duties** * Support the Planning, Control, and Cost Management Department by monitoring, analyzing, and updating cost, productivity, and economic-financial performance KPIs; * Develop, update, and maintain cost, schedule, and financial indicator dashboards, ensuring visibility and supporting management decision-making; * Prepare, plan, and monitor the financial curve of projects, ensuring predictability and alignment with the Finance Department; * Perform budgetary control of projects, tracking actual, committed, and forecasted costs, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions; * Participate in meetings with Budget, Procurement, and Construction Management to manage contracts for materials, equipment, and labor, evaluating financial impacts based on contracted scope versus executive budget; * Analyze cost variances (planned vs. actual), preparing projections, forecasts, and sensitivity analyses; * Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, and Finance teams to propose improvements in estimation, control, and cost reporting processes, aiming for greater data reliability; * Develop and apply analytical tools using Business Intelligence (BI), advanced Excel, and other platforms for critical analysis and visualization of project financial data; * Monitor advancements in cost engineering methodologies, technologies, and tools, implementing continuous process improvements; * Prepare and support the creation of managerial cost reports, financial indicators, and project economic performance analyses. **Requirements and qualifications** * **Education:** Completed undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Production Engineering. * **Professional experience:** Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction planning and monitoring; knowledge of Project Management; experience with managerial indicator reporting. * **Technical skills:** Proficiency in MS Project and other planning tools; advanced Excel skills; intermediate PowerPoint skills; intermediate Power BI skills are a plus. * **Interpersonal skills:** Strong interpersonal relationships, technical leadership, organization, and commitment. **Additional information** * **Location:** Willingness to work onsite in Belo Horizonte. * **Benefits:** Meal allowance, transportation allowance, life insurance, dental plan, health plan (co-payment), and Wellhub. **BTS** is a company specialized in real estate project development, focused on meeting our clients’ demands in every detail.
