Job Summary: Customs clearance analyst with experience in customs legislation, import/export processes, special customs regimes, and the Manaus Free Trade Zone. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in customs clearance operations in the Manaus Free Trade Zone, Manaus, and other states. 2. Experience with AEO (Authorized Economic Operator), Manaus Free Trade Zone, and DUIMP. 3. Knowledge of customs legislation and special customs regimes. We are seeking a Senior Customs Clearance Analyst to join our team, supporting customs clearance activities in the Manaus Free Trade Zone and Manaus, as well as in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Paraná, and Santa Catarina. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in this field, knowledge of customs legislation, and the ability to manage import/export processes, special customs regimes, the Manaus Free Trade Zone, dealings with SUFRAMA and DRAWBACK, as well as strong communication skills, process management capabilities, and organizational skills. Proven experience with AEO, Manaus Free Trade Zone, and DUIMP is required. Key Responsibilities: Execute operational routines related to customs clearance. Responsible for implementing projects and technical processes within the Import and Export area, adhering to company policies and regulations, as well as executing legal import requirements in accordance with current customs laws and regulations. Analyze and register import declarations (DI and DUIMP) and export declarations in the integrated system. Analyze and register import licenses and/or LPCO. Represent the company before the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service and other regulatory agencies. Request and execute payment of fees and taxes. Update internal reports and spreadsheets. Monitor cargo transit and arrival. Perform other duties related to those described above. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or technology degree in Administration, International Trade, International Relations, or related fields. Proven experience in the role is required. Proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with the Softway Thomson Reuters system. English: Intermediate level.
