Operate and control production line equipment, ensuring compliance with product quality requirements, fulfillment of the production schedule, and maintenance of equipment conservation and efficiency in your area at the Fernandes Pinheiro unit.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Perform CIP and/or equipment cleaning, and maintain the production line’s operational condition according to existing procedures, properly documenting them;
* Conduct equipment inspections during cleaning and operation, recording identified anomalies to ensure proper functioning of equipment in your area;
* Perform adjustments/minor maintenance on operated equipment, when required and qualified to do so, using appropriate tools;
* Complete control spreadsheets and checklists as described in the area’s standard procedures;
* Operate production line equipment, understanding its manual and automatic operating principles; escalate complex issues to other operators while retaining autonomy to stop the machine upon identification of a critical problem.
* Perform product quality analyses as specified in the line-specific work instructions;
* Monitor raw material and packaging usage, ensuring correct application and traceability;
* Conduct inventory verifications and production reporting, record production output, and perform system and production reporting spreadsheet updates;
* Request and return materials to the warehouse, verifying received and returned materials physically and via the system;
* Record downtime events in downtime reporting spreadsheets and/or LeãoProd, as applicable to your area;
* Register, monitor, and analyze losses within your area;
* Monitor incoming raw materials and inputs for use on the production line, as well as finished products, identifying and reporting any abnormalities to your area supervisor and Quality Control to ensure final product quality;
* Monitor all process variables to guarantee final product quality;
* Monitor maintenance activities performed on your production line, verifying whether execution occurs within expected timeframes and meets service delivery expectations;
* Consolidate information from your area requiring documentation, transferring it during shift handovers or to supervisors;
* Ensure monitoring—when required—of CCPs (Critical Control Points) and PPROs (Prerequisite Programs) in the area (as described in the area’s HACCP Plan [Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points]), with authority to halt the production line per specific procedures and training;
* Record production volumes via the current production reporting system.
* Conduct root cause analysis for production line issues, such as breakdowns and quality problems, including RAFs (Failure Analysis Reports), RNCs (Non-Conformance Records), and Incidents;
* Lead GA meetings, bringing key topics and challenges encountered by the team to the MA pillar and/or area supervisors, and proposing solutions;
* Assist Operators II and III upon request;
* Assist with tasks within your job scope in other departments, upon request by the Production Supervisor or area leader;
* Support the training of Production Assistants, focusing on cleaning, equipment operation, and resolution of minor issues;
* Propose new procedures and revisions to the document management system, ensuring alignment with company standards and optimal implementation;
* Conduct training and support the development of Production Assistants, focusing on equipment operation, problem resolution, and interpretation and monitoring of indicators;
* Understand and update your area’s indicators, recognizing how your activities impact each one, and propose improvement actions.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Completed high school education
Basic computer skills
Prior industrial operation experience is a plus
