Job Summary: The Research and Development Analyst will be responsible for drafting and maintaining technical standards, developing new projects, and improving existing products. Key Highlights: 1. To achieve this, the Research and Development department plays a fundamental role in adding value to the business by introducing innovations and refining existing products or services to meet our customers’ expectations. The Research and Development Analyst will be responsible for drafting and maintaining product technical standards, developing new projects, and achieving time, cost, and performance objectives within established parameters. #### **Main Responsibilities:** * Test products in production to ensure compliance with POP (Standard Operating Procedure) and standardization; * Research competitors and gather customer feedback to create and develop new products meeting their needs; * Monitor production of new products for a defined period to promote continuous improvement and standardization; * Analyze root causes of product quality-related non-conformances and develop corrective and preventive actions; * Draft product technical specifications and perform cost formatting; * Prospect new raw material suppliers, assess product quality, and forward proposals for negotiation and approval by the procurement department; * Deliver training to promoters and interact with customers regarding product preparation; * Comply with operational procedures required for the position. #### **Mandatory Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in research and development routines within the food industry; * Organizational skills, proactivity, and initiative; * Analytical ability and prudence; * Commitment to departmental goals and results; * Proficiency in product research and development. #### **Desirable Requirements (Advantages):** * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies; * Experience in cost analysis and technical specification formatting; * Practical experience in supplier negotiation and evaluation; * Skills in delivering training and communicating with customers; * Familiarity with technical and regulatory standards in the food industry. #### **Benefits:** * Medical assistance * Telemedicine and telepsychology * Dental plan * Benefits club * Pharmacy discounts * Benefit card * Reward programs * Life insurance * Funeral assistance * Pregnancy follow-up * Nursing room, changing room, and rest room * Meal allowance * Career development plan #### **Work Schedule and Hours:** * 8:48-hour daily work schedule * Monday to Friday
