Maintaining workplace organization and cleanliness #### **About the position:** Responsible for cutting, preparing, and selling meats in butcher shops, supermarkets, or similar establishments, ensuring the quality and hygiene of products offered to customers. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Clean and organize the department, complying with health surveillance requirements and company safety standards; * Check and verify temperatures at service counters, packaged items, shelves, and islands; * Remove meats from cold storage units and prepare\-them for cutting; * Perform traditional and special cuts based on deboning of beef and pork; * Receive poultry and lamb meats, label\-them, and arrange them in sales areas; * Verify prices and expiration dates of products displayed at counters, islands, and shelves; * Keep tools and equipment related to the position clean and organized; * Assist the Lead Butcher and Butchery Supervisor in monthly and weekly inventory counts, performing unloading and product verification; * Serve customers according to the company\'s required service standards; * Follow operational procedures required for the position; * Be attentive and committed to departmental activities; * Possess interpersonal skills; * Cut, debone, clean, and prepare beef, pork, poultry, and occasionally fish. * Serve customers, answering questions about cuts and suggesting options. * Maintain workplace hygiene and organization, adhering to sanitary regulations. * Monitor meat quality, discarding products unfit for consumption. * Store meats correctly to prevent contamination. * Assist in receiving and verifying incoming goods. #### **Desirable qualifications (advantageous):** * Technical knowledge of meat types and cuts. * Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety. * Good manual dexterity and attention to precise cutting. * Communication skills for customer service. * Prior experience in the field may sometimes be required. #### **Benefits:** * Family Assistance Network * Telemedicine and Telepsychology * Dental Plan * Benefits Club * Pharmacy Discounts * Benefit Card * Recognition Programs * Life Insurance * Funeral Assistance * Pregnancy Monitoring * Nursing Room, Changing Room, and Rest Room * On\-site Meals * Career Development Plan * Partner Website Discounts #### **Work schedule and working hours:** Rotating 6x1 schedule 7 hours and 20 minutes daily
