Job Summary:
A professional responsible for microbiological analyses, quality control, and assurance of compliance in an industrial environment, focusing on prevention and correction of deviations.

* Perform microbiological analyses on raw materials, water, in-process products, and finished products, ensuring compliance with internal standards and applicable legislation;
* Carry out sample collection, preparation of culture media, incubation, reading, and interpretation of microbiological results;
* Monitor microbiological indicators and trends, identifying deviations and supporting corrective and preventive actions;
* Investigate microbiological non-conformances, collaborating on root cause analysis and implementation of process improvements;
* Monitor and validate hygiene, sanitization, and environmental control procedures (surfaces, air, equipment);
* Maintain up-to-date records, reports, and technical documentation, ensuring traceability and reliability of information;
* Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with standards, procedures, and legal requirements;
* Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance departments to promote good manufacturing practices and microbiological control;
* Ensure adherence to biosafety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations in the laboratory and production areas.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree completed in Microbiology, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Food Engineering, or related fields;
* Experience in microbiological analyses within an industrial or laboratory setting;
* Knowledge of microbiological techniques, preparation of culture media, and reading and interpretation of results;
* Familiarity with quality and safety standards (GMP, SOPs, sanitary legislation);
* Knowledge of microbiological process, water, and environmental control;
* Ability to prepare technical reports and manage documentation;
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical mindset, and commitment to quality and safety.
**Experience in the beverage or food industry, as well as experience with audits, process validation, and environmental controls, will be considered advantageous.**
