As a **Project Engineer**, your key responsibilities will include: * Supporting product managers in the Services area in developing technical-commercial proposals for presentation and negotiation with customers, contributing to qualitative and quantitative resource sizing for engineering projects. * Supporting the technical and sales teams during the project sales process to ensure technical alignment of the scope; * Initiating projects in the system, receiving feedback on closed projects from the sales team and customers, and collaborating with responsible product managers to understand contractual variables. * Entering data into the integrated system for project startup and subsequent planning, execution control, and cost tracking. * Organizing meetings with customers for each project to negotiate schedules and deliverables for each process stage. * Updating open projects in the management and control system by entering descriptions of all activities, their deadlines, and required resources. * Engaging national or international partner suppliers defined in contracts—or new suppliers as needed—presenting technical scopes for mechanical, electrical, and/or civil engineering projects, specifying conceptual and technical quantitative and qualitative requirements. * Receiving quotations and analyzing cost-benefit ratios, providing technical recommendations to the procurement team for commercial negotiations and supply contract finalization. * Participating in technical drawing development and engineering specifications. * Overseeing third-party engineering detailing service providers, presenting specifications or requirements, and validating layouts or models. * Monitoring deliverables from each supplier per project regarding service execution and/or equipment, component, and accessory manufacturing and availability. * Conducting technical visits to suppliers and performing follow-up via in-person meetings and/or email, assessing alignment with the service scope in terms of technical compliance, quality, schedule adherence, and cost. * Intervening in case of deviations to avoid increased costs and/or delays in product delivery and/or service implementation at customer sites. * Facilitating interfaces among product/service suppliers, customers, and ANDRITZ during product and service delivery and implementation at customer sites, in accordance with contractual scope. * Consolidating and reconciling information and deliverables for technical feasibility analysis and execution decision-making, jointly defining production shutdown and implementation timelines. * Monitoring project execution (works/services) at customer sites, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverable quality, identifying and resolving any unforeseen issues or demands. * Performing ad-hoc replanning and coordinating with sales and procurement teams as needed due to requirements for additional/complementary resources/services per project. * Managing payment events for each completed project phase, requesting customer payment release and notifying finance for invoice generation, as well as authorizing payments to involved suppliers. * Executing financial closure for each project, based on execution progress controls covering deliverables (costs, deadlines, allocated resources, and deliveries). * Consolidating values and comparing planned vs. actual actions and costs per customer request, reporting to the controller’s office and justifying any variances. * Managing receipt of all technical documentation per project from involved partner suppliers, forwarding customer copies and releasing ANDRITZ copies to the technical documentation department for archiving. * Supporting and/or executing functional equipment or plant testing activities with commissioning teams, verifying proper functionality according to EIA project specifications. * Occasionally participating in factory startup and reporting improvement/correction needs to the field team until full functional quality is achieved. * When required, managing on-site construction execution; Preparing and technically guiding junior professionals. * We are seeking candidates with the following **skills**: * MS PROJECT \- Used for creating project work breakdown structures, presenting deliverable compositions, and developing commercial proposal schedules. * PROJECT MANAGEMENT \- Identifying, planning, coordinating, and monitoring all activities and processes necessary to execute projects, in line with quality standards, deadlines, and project objectives. * COST AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT \- Managing costs and budgets, including concepts related to project budgeting, costing of required resources (human, material, or financial), project activities and tasks—including supplier or subcontractor engagement—and identifying how these costs impact the final price of a service or product. * Knowledge of routines and technical documentation in mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines. * EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR PAPER AND PULP PRODUCTION \- Equipment applied in pulp and paper manufacturing processes—such as digesters, boilers, motors, pumps—and other related technologies relevant to this role’s responsibilities. * TECHNICAL DRAWING INTERPRETATION \- Interpreting industrial and mechanical technical drawings, recognizing critical points and symbols, and assessing project complexity. May include proposing alternatives, inferring manufacturing processes, and supporting cost estimation and material selection. * MECHANICS \- Knowledge of core mechanical principles, including physical laws and associated mathematical calculations. * PEOPLE MANAGEMENT \- Applying techniques, policies, and tools to guide professionals under this role’s responsibility, ensuring workflow order and efficiency, compliance with company standards, and achievement of set objectives. * Office Suite (Basic Excel) * Advanced English.
