Guarantee of compliance with technical specifications Durli Leathers is seeking organized and detail-oriented professionals to perform quality control in our laboratory. Primary focus will be conducting tests on leather (semi-finished), ensuring products meet customers' technical specifications and regulatory standards. **Location:** Durli Leathers – São José dos Pinhais/PR **Responsibilities and Duties** **1\. Sample Preparation:** * Receiving and identifying leather samples from different batches. * Cutting test specimens, strictly following required cutting direction and sampling zones specified by standards. * Conditioning samples (controlling temperature and humidity in the testing room). **2\. Physical\-Mechanical Laboratory:** * Performing tensile strength and elongation tests. * Conducting progressive tearing and rupture tests. * Measuring leather thickness and apparent density. * Recording results in spreadsheets and issuing technical reports. * Assisting with daily calibration and cleaning of equipment. * Reporting non-conformities immediately to the area manager. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education. * Knowledge of laboratory glassware and handling of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, balances). * Basic computer skills (Excel for data entry). * Residence within easy commuting distance to Campo Largo da Roseira in São José dos Pinhais/PR. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Technical course in Chemistry, Tanning, Quality, or related fields. * Familiarity with technical standards (ABNT NBR, ISO, IUP, IUC). **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * On-site meal * Attendance Bonus of R$700.00 paid via Alelo card * Medical Assistance (optional enrollment) * Dental Assistance (optional enrollment) * Employee Referral Program * Life Insurance * Growth Opportunities **Durli Leathers** is a leather manufacturing industry, a market reference for over 60 years.
