If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and want to learn and prepare onigiri, this position is for you. Your responsibilities will include: * **Ingredient Preparation (Mise en place):** Washing, cutting, and preparing vegetables, proteins, and side dishes. * **Rice Production:** Assisting in cooking and seasoning Japanese rice (*shari*). * **Assembly:** Supporting the assembly of onigiris and other menu items while ensuring brand visual standards. * **Organization and Cleaning:** Maintaining a clean, organized workstation compliant with food safety regulations. * **Inventory Management:** Assisting in receiving and verifying incoming goods. Requirements: * Completed high school education. * Prior kitchen experience is desirable (experience with Japanese food is a plus but not mandatory — we provide training!). * Manual dexterity and attention to detail. * Flexible availability, including Saturdays. * Team spirit and strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Interest in Asian culture and gastronomy. * Certification in food handling best practices.
