Job Summary: The Programmer Analyst at MAPFRE will analyze, design, develop, and implement effective technological solutions to optimize internal processes and meet business needs. Key Highlights: 1. Advising clients on the implementation of business solutions. **Description** --------------- The Programmer Analyst at **MAPFRE** will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing effective technological solutions that address business needs and contribute to optimizing internal processes. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced technical knowledge, and collaborative skills to work with various departments across the organization. **Responsibilities** ------------- * Model software to be developed, considering requirements (Business Model, Usability Model) * Design IT solutions related to changes in existing systems or new systems * Create test plans to verify that requirements and specifications are met (Test Model) * Participate in project estimation and planning processes * Advise clients on the implementation of business solutions * Model Business Processes * Assist users to achieve their expected information and results * Prepare necessary documentation for project execution * Maintain up-to-date, innovative, specific, and/or specialized knowledge of procedures, regulations, technical criteria, etc., within the scope of responsibility, through participation in training sessions and monitoring key performance and quality indicators of the activity * Analyze and evaluate business user needs and translate them into requirements, ensuring proper alignment with current technological solutions or creation of new solutions that interact with existing ones, contributing to their implementation * Advise business or IT users to help determine the feasibility of a solution during the pre-project phase or improvements to existing solutions * Evaluate factors required to meet business demand and control its execution, proposing scheduling and prioritization criteria to the project or service manager * Develop functional specifications and system design for information systems to meet defined business needs, analyzing technical feasibility of the solution and integration of systems and technologies according to corporate standards * Develop specifications, design, and maintenance of data storage and access mechanisms to support enterprise solution information needs, leveraging detailed knowledge of database architectures, software, and installations * Conduct planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure that new and modified systems, configurations, packages, or services—including any interfaces—are developed as specified, and that associated implementation risks are properly understood and documented * Collaborate in developing the Project Framework following MAPFRE’s Methodology **Experience** --------------- * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Programmer or Analyst * Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, **Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services, Unix** * Experience across all stages of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, development, testing, and implementation * ASP.NET, MVC, and Web APIs * Data Model and Stored Procedures development * Preferably experience in SQL Programming * Extensive experience developing web technologies such as Microsoft ASP.NET, JSP & Java * Strong communication skills in Spanish and English **Education** ------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science **Benefits** -------------- * Retirement and Savings Plan (401K) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of salary * Life Insurance * Medical Plan * 15 days of annual vacation * Modern gym in the central building, cafeteria, medical clinic * Professional Development Program * Employee Assistance Program * Company insurance discounts * Recognition Programs * Health Fairs * Employee activities and other optional benefits * Hybrid work arrangement after successful completion of probationary period.
