Promotion of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance **Job Objective** Work as a driver and operational leader, supporting fleet and driver management to ensure organization, safety, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise and guide drivers in operational routines. * Monitor fuel refills, fuel consumption, and logbook reports. * Ensure daily vehicle check\-lists are completed (before departure and upon return). * Organize and verify vehicle and driver documentation (driver's license, occupational health certificate, invoices, tachograph records, etc.). * Monitor work schedules, working hours, driving time, and mandatory rest periods. * Provide support for incidents occurring along routes (breakdowns, accidents, operational queries). * Support preventive and corrective maintenance control. * Promote defensive driving, fuel economy, and vehicle preservation practices. * **Seek and negotiate return loads when necessary, ensuring optimal route utilization and reduced operational costs.** * Report irregularities, damages, and inappropriate conduct to fleet management. Knowledge of operational routines, check\-lists, and basic maintenance. * Familiarity with logistics, transportation documentation, and freight sourcing. * Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and leadership profile. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience as a driver team leader, instructor, or fleet supervisor. * Fleet or logistics management experience. * Knowledge of tracking systems, fuel management systems, and freight platforms. **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership and ethical conduct. * Organization and discipline. * Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution ability. * Proactivity and decision-making capability.
