The Legion of Good Will – LBV is hiring a **Social Educator**:
The **Social Educator** is responsible for promoting citizenship and social inclusion, as well as community development and integration of groups facing social vulnerability, through socio-educational, cultural, and recreational activities, aiming to strengthen individual skills and awareness of fundamental rights and guarantees—enabling the overcoming of challenges and the construction of autonomous life projects, in pursuit of a solidarity-based, altruistic, and ecumenical society.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Conduct socio-educational activities through dialogues, debates, talking circles, playful experiences, artistic-cultural activities, and leisure activities to strengthen bonds among users, their families, and unit staff;
* Engage in continuous professional development to broaden general knowledge, thematic understanding, and responsibilities related to contemporary society and citizenship, with the aim of proposing service axes and objectives;
* Assist service beneficiaries in the dining area and foster autonomy through practical assistance and self-confidence-building skills;
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Education: **Completed High School (Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred)**
* Prior experience in the Social Coexistence and Bond Strengthening Service (SCFV) preferred
* Availability to work flexible hours;
**Additional Information**
* Workload: **220 hours per month**
* Schedule: **7:30 AM to 5:18 PM (Monday to Friday)**
