Feel free to register for all available positions that interest you—though we recommend completing one application process before starting another. **Responsibilities and Duties** **JOB MISSION:** Support in carrying out routine laboratory activities, assisting faculty in preparing materials, managing/organizing inventory, preparing solutions, and performing other duties pertinent to the role. **MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Receive samples for analysis; * Perform hemograms, biochemical, urinalysis, parasitological, microbiological, and histopathological tests; * Handle cadavers for necropsy procedures; * Operate and calibrate analytical equipment; * Assist students and faculty during practical classes; * Prepare, install, handle, control, and store laboratory materials and equipment; * Know and handle chemical reagents, culture media, solvents, equipment, tools, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments—avoiding accidents while performing assigned tasks; * Assist in research, extension, and health activities by executing required procedures and collaborating in result evaluation; * Perform quality control techniques to ensure result accuracy; * Prepare materials, raw materials, samples, tests, analyses, and others to support classes, research, diagnostics, etc.; * Place purchase orders for supplies related to the area; * Maintain organization and proper functioning of departmental equipment. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** * Technical Course in Laboratory Technology; or * Technical Course in Clinical Analysis; or * Technical Course in Chemistry; or * Technical Course in Clinical Laboratory Assistant; or * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Health Sciences with laboratory experience (preferred). **Computer Skills:** * Basic Office suite **Duties:** * Organize/prepare laboratories for practical activities * Clean and sterilize materials * Monitor maintenance activities * Knowledge of slide and strain preparation is preferred. **Skills:** * Teamwork skills * Organization **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** * 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Mon–Fri), 150 hours/month **Benefits:** * Medical Assistance * Dental Assistance * Transportation Allowance or Parking * Cafeteria * Birthday Day Off * Total Pass * Pharmacy Partnership * Life Insurance * Two 50% tuition scholarships (Undergraduate or Postgraduate) – extended to spouse and/or children * Two 100% online tuition scholarships (Undergraduate or Postgraduate) – extended to spouse and/or children Are you ready to contribute to our purpose of quality and excellence in education?
