Job Summary: The cumim assists in organizing the dining area, transporting dishes and beverages, cleaning tables, restocking supplies, and interacting with customers in certain situations. Key Highlights: 1. General assistance to waiters in table service 2. Organization and cleaning of the dining area 3. Customer interaction and inventory management of supplies Cumim Responsibilities: * **Dining Area Organization:** Prior to service commencement, the cumim assists in setting up tables, arranging chairs, and cleaning and organizing the space. * **Assistance to Waiters:** During service, the cumim may assist waiters in transporting dishes and beverages, delivering orders, and restocking items. * **Table Cleaning:** After customers depart, the cumim is responsible for cleaning and organizing tables—removing plates, glasses, and food remnants—and preparing them for new customers. * **Restocking:** The cumim may be responsible for ordering and replenishing consumable supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and other items required for service. * **Customer Interaction:** Although direct customer contact is primarily handled by waiters, the cumim may interact with customers in certain situations—for example, when delivering dishes or beverages, or addressing specific inquiries or requests.
