





SITE EHS OPERATIONS PROFESSIONAL **MISSION** In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization. Responsible for promoting, controlling, monitoring, and ensuring that all company activities comply with legal and corporate requirements related to Employee Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including all related activities under each area. The Factory Health & Safety / Environment Supervisor is appointed by the General Director as the Plant’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (EHSMS) Management Representative. Responsible for disseminating, implementing, and inspecting the application of the Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) system for all machine interventions, including those performed by third parties. Ensure the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and effective operation of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System; ensure that the requirements of this system are communicated, followed, and maintained. Responsible for reporting System performance to the General Director. Also responsible for generating and implementing recommendations to improve the management system and active participation. Maintain the safety programs required by OHSAS 18001 / STPSC. Coordinate investigations of all accidents and have authority to request disciplinary actions related thereto. Conduct Health, Safety, and Environmental audits. Maintain the on-site Emergency Response Plan up to date and coordinate with relevant departments. Endorse certification for all operators of critical equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, etc. Support and coordinate compliance with all municipal, state/federal, and corporate regulations. Has authority to approve new chemicals for use at the plant and ensure their proper management. Ensure all corporate reporting requirements are also kept up to date. Prepare necessary reports to meet legal compliance requirements and maintain continuous communication with Management. This position has the authority and responsibility to halt any process posing risks to personnel safety or health, significant environmental impacts, or product quality affecting our customers, ensuring corresponding procedures are followed within the Quality Management System and the SAASS (Environmental, Health, and Safety Administration System). Has authority to coordinate emergency preparedness activities and is a member of the Emergency Response Committee, coordinating efforts during emergency situations. Conduct audit efforts and training support, as well as activities to lead work teams toward SAASS Procedure compliance. Also responsible for generating and coordinating with other functions the implementation of recommendations to improve SAASS.
