Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, or related fields)**Job Description:** * Develop and optimize industrial processes from concept and prototyping through mass production and product lifecycle. * Familiarity with manufacturing layouts, material flow, and machine placement—proposing and implementing optimizations. * Proficiency with methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing) and statistical tools to identify waste and measurable improvement opportunities in cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and quality and safety assurance. * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Product Engineering, Logistics, Maintenance) to implement continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, Six Sigma) and resolve issues. * Prepare technical specifications for procurement of equipment, tooling, and fixtures. * Develop and maintain technical process documentation (e.g., flowcharts, Process FMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions). **Required Skills and Education** * Completed bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation). * Experience with production processes, especially mechanical assembly involving torque/pressing control, functional testing, etc. * Intermediate English (reading, writing, speaking) for collaboration with international teams and suppliers. * Knowledge of automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA) is desirable. * Fully on-site position; located in Araucária/PR **About AAM:** As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
