Despite initial difficulties, the company gradually developed technologies and established itself as a reference in food dehydration. In 1984, Nutrimental was approached by a young economist (Amyr Klink), who aimed to become the first person to cross the Atlantic Ocean rowing solo. To accomplish this feat, he needed food that was lightweight, nutritious, and space-efficient onboard. Challenge issued, challenge accepted. With support from a team of nutritionists and researchers, Nutrimental developed Klink’s entire diet for over three months of crossing—which concluded with absolute success. This success would later be repeated during an Antarctic expedition. One of the products created for Klink’s diet later inspired the creation of Brazil’s first cereal bar, Nutry—still today a market leader in brand recall and sales. From 1968 until now, much has changed: new products, new solutions, new technologies. What hasn’t changed, however, is Nutrimental’s vocation to transform challenges into opportunities—and reinvent itself whenever necessary. Apparently, we share this trait. **Our Values** * Continuous Learning Enables achievement, human development, and ongoing capacity building for change. * Integrity Promotes coherence and ethics, creating conditions for other values to flourish. * Innovation Meets evolution needs, demands creativity—naturally emerging in an environment of trust, freedom for individual and collective expression. * Horizontal Structure Means openness to ideas, freedom with responsibility—aligned with each person’s abilities.
