**Buyer** **Job Mission** Ensure efficient and strategic supply of materials and inputs required for construction projects and works, focusing on specific technical categories, always seeking the best cost\-benefit ratio, quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with technical and safety standards. **Main Responsibilities** Conduct quotations, negotiations, and purchases of electromechanical materials (e.g., cables, electrical equipment, piping, pumps, motors, etc.), fire prevention systems (e.g., extinguishers, sprinklers, alarms, hydrants, etc.), civil construction materials (e.g., cement, steel, bricks, aggregates, etc.), cutting and welding consumables (e.g., cutting discs, electrodes, gases, etc.), and PPE (personal protective equipment, e.g., helmets, gloves, boots, masks, etc.). Analyze purchase requisitions, verifying technical specifications, quantities, compliance with standards (ABNT, NR, etc.) and budget availability. Research, qualify, and develop new suppliers efficiently, assessing technical and financial capacity, product quality, and delivery performance history. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts, aiming to reduce costs and mitigate risks. Monitor material delivery processes, verifying quality, quantity, and adherence to deadlines, resolving non\-conformities (returns, replacements, or repairs). Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, in collaboration with warehouse and planning departments. Periodically evaluate supplier performance, maintaining an updated supplier database and fostering strategic partnerships. **Requirements and Qualifications** Proven experience in procurement, preferably in civil construction, electromechanical installations, industrial maintenance, or construction projects. Solid knowledge of electromechanical construction materials, fire prevention systems, civil construction materials, cutting\/welding consumables, and PPE. Demonstrated ability to prospect and rapidly onboard new suppliers, with agility in qualification and negotiation processes. Proficiency in quotation tools, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Totvs or similar), and advanced Excel. Strong negotiation, critical analysis, and problem\-solving skills. Knowledge of technical standards (ABNT, NR\-35, NR\-10, etc.) and public\/private procurement legislation (if applicable).
