Collaboration with various departments to ensure technical feasibility Position Title: Senior Mechanical Designer **Job Summary** The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for developing, detailing, and optimizing high-complexity mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with functional, regulatory, and company quality requirements. The role will serve as the team’s technical reference, proposing innovative solutions, reviewing critical designs, and supporting the development of junior and mid-level designers. Key Responsibilities * Design and detail complex mechanical projects, primarily using SolidWorks (3D modeling and 2D drawings). * Develop technical solutions that optimize costs, schedules, and manufacturing processes. * Perform critical design reviews to ensure compliance with technical standards, internal specifications, and customer requirements. * Review and validate designs prepared by other team members, ensuring quality and standardization. * Guide and supervise junior and mid-level designers, promoting knowledge transfer and best design practices. * Collaborate with production, quality, process engineering, procurement, and commercial departments to ensure technical and production feasibility of solutions. * Participate in technical meetings, project presentations, and scope and schedule definition. * Support decision-making for strategic projects and engineering-related investment evaluations. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering**, or related fields. * Minimum **5 years** of experience in developing complex mechanical projects. * Proficiency in **3D CAD**, preferably **SolidWorks**, and familiarity with simulation/CAE tools. * Solid knowledge of technical standards applicable to the company’s industry segment. * Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and technical leadership ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. Desirable Competencies * Strong analytical capability and systemic understanding of products and processes. * Creativity and proactivity in identifying improvement opportunities and solving problems. * Experience in **industrial and/or automotive projects** will be considered an advantage. * Advanced technical English for reading standards, catalogs, and technical documentation.
