




Job Summary: Responsible for managing technical aspects of projects, approving designs, preparing budgets, and monitoring schedules, ensuring execution in accordance with company standards. Curitiba, Brazil Permanent 80\-100% On-site This is where you will shine * Responsible for the technical aspects of small projects related to your area of expertise; * Approval of projects based on customer expectations; * Technical project management, participation in project meetings with functional team members, suppliers, and/or customers; * Budget assigned to the project as well as definition of necessary technical specifications for preparing purchase orders, monitoring work schedules, preparing required documentation for the implementation process, and collecting feedback information and best practices; * Support the Project Manager to ensure correct project execution in accordance with Bühler Project Management procedures and provide technical support to Claims and Non-Conformance Management; * Define all necessary technical specifications for preparing purchase orders related to project execution; * Resolve questions or problems arising during project execution and manufacturing, as well as during installation; * Monitor work schedules to ensure that all project steps are completed fully and on time; * Prioritize and manage working hours to maintain scheduled working hours and delivery dates as planned for the project; * Manage engineering department activities to ensure timely issuance of purchase orders without requiring subsequent orders; * Responsible for the budget assigned to your portion of the project, including cost and quality of subcontracted projects; * Prepare required documentation for the implementation process; * Verify any scope deviation in the Bühler CAQ system; * Create work modules transferable to other engineering locations; * Collect feedback information and best practices, implement lessons learned, promote and conduct a review meeting. These are the skills you will need * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Designer or proven qualification; * Knowledge of industrial layout projects; * Understanding of manufacturing principles and industrial processes; * Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and mechanical layout; * Advanced knowledge of 3D modeling software; * Advanced Microsoft Office suite; * Advanced English; * Ability to lead and collaborate with international engineering teams (Desirable); * Knowledge of the food industry segment, such as wheat mills, biscuit factories, and general ingredient handling (Desirable).
