Responsibility for inspection and conformity of parts **Job Description: CNC Machine Setter (with lathe experience)** We are seeking a professional to work as a CNC Machine Setter with proven experience in operating and setting up CNC lathes, ensuring quality and efficiency in production processes. **Responsibilities:** * Set up machining centers and/or CNC lathes; * Verify whether the program transmitted by the process department matches the drawing to prevent machine collisions (never modify the program without the presence of the process responsible); * Verify whether the tooling matches the requirements specified in the process; * Release the first produced part jointly with the team leader; * Perform part production according to templates and engineering drawings; * Evaluate initial part quality and conduct sampling inspections; * Operate manual tools such as screwdrivers, Allen keys, open-end wrenches, torque wrenches, files, etc.; * Inform immediate supervisor upon completion of the full production cycle; * Check part dimensions and diameters to ensure compliance with specifications; * Work in accordance with company standards and procedures; * Comply with technical requirements related to quality, safety, and hygiene. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a CNC machine setter; * Experience in operating and setting up CNC lathes; * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; * Knowledge of measuring instruments; * Attention to detail and commitment to quality. **Important:** * Not responsible for machine programming. **Working Hours:** * Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 17:18.
