Description:
What you need to have:
* Completed degree in Technology, Project Management, Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields;
* Experience in traditional and agile portfolio/project management;
* Financial knowledge with focus on matrix budgeting;
* Analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Knowledge of project management tools;
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
What would be a plus:
* PMP, PfMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications.
* Promoting project management culture: Planning, executing, and monitoring projects according to traditional methodologies (e.g., PMBOK) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum and Kanban).
* Organizing and monitoring project training events. Collecting and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement of training sessions.
* Preparing and presenting outcomes of project training sessions.
* Supporting the implementation of project management tools within the institution.
* Monitoring market trends in project management and identifying opportunities for synergy with other university departments.
* Monitoring institutional strategic initiatives, generating/managing indicators to measure performance and benefit realization.
* Preparing and presenting materials on the progress of the strategic portfolio, ensuring transparency and regular updates to institutional management.
* Collecting and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement of the Projects Unit’s operations.
* Encouraging project managers to ensure all project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and properly stored.
* Developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships for the strategic portfolio, ensuring clear and effective communication.
