The Mercure Curitiba Batel Hotel is only 5 minutes from the city center! **Job Description** KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Greet guests/clients upon arrival at the hotel, approach them, handle their luggage, escort them to their rooms, introduce hotel facilities, and provide general information about the property and other services. • Deliver documents, packages, and other items to guest rooms, respond to guest requests, and manage the dispatch and receipt of mail pouches. • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the reception area (e.g., ashtray cleaning, organizing newspapers and magazines, etc.). • Handle guest luggage, ensuring its integrity and security, correctly identifying each piece and affixing baggage tags. • Maintain organization and control of items stored in the bellboy’s closet (e.g., protocols, suitcases, etc.). • Relay information between taxi requests and drivers. • Responsible for restocking various departmental supplies (FNRH items, office supplies, key passports, business cards, candies, etc.). • Perform other related duties as required by departmental needs. **Qualifications** Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet) Basic English No prior experience required **Additional Information** REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS FOR THIS POSITION Creativity Problem Solving Contribution to Results Passion for Service Flexibility Commitment Dynamism Proactivity Organization Attention to Detail Motor Coordination
