Respond to inquiries from the Commercial Department by providing information on raw material availability and delivery timelines, based on preliminary analysis of documents (quotations, cutting and bending order forms, structural project drawings). Perform project scheduling when necessary or generate material quantity estimates for steel quotation summaries. Receive finalized orders from the Commercial Department and register new customers and/or construction projects in the Graphico software. Verify raw material availability for production of finalized orders and request procurement from the Purchasing Department when required. Interpret and schedule reinforcement or formwork projects, transferring project data into the Graphico software according to production standards. Resolve technical queries by consulting formwork drawings and relevant information through direct contact with the customer. Issue verification reports (consistency checks). Conduct or arrange verification procedures, considering all provided information, and submit results to the customer for final approval. Create Customer Orders for new customers or construction projects when necessary, and generate Production Orders for each scheduled order phase using the cutting and bending software. Issue labels (Work Orders), grouped parts reports, and delivery manifests in accordance with the production schedule and predetermined execution deadlines. Populate the Production and Monthly Scheduling Spreadsheet, generating the Production Map for submission alongside labels (W.O.) to the Production Supervisor. Monitor production by updating internal control reports and spreadsheets, entering and verifying data to ensure accurate and reliable information is available. Email the Production Map and associated deadlines to the Commercial Department to keep them informed. Initiate and conclude production for each material gauge upon operator request. Control ends and scrap by updating the spreadsheet based on the ‘Ends and Scrap Generation Control’ document sent from production after completion of each order’s cutting process. Record generated losses in the order for subsequent billing. Generate Occurrence Reports (O.R.) when materials are transferred between inventories. Forward finalized orders to the Billing Department according to the delivery schedule, along with the Delivery Manifest. Verify and archive signed Delivery Manifests received from customers after delivery, together with orders, scheduling reports, and other generated documents; retain these records for five years. Receive finalized orders for roofing sheets, coils, and columns, verify customer approval, enter relevant information into the release screen, and forward orders to production. Sequence manufacturing orders considering priorities and the pre-established master plan, aiming to meet deadlines, quantities, and departmental productivity targets. Monitor daily stock levels of standard-sized coils. Assign unique codes to each received coil, populate code spreadsheets with coil-related information, generate Coil Production Spreadsheets, and distribute them to production departments, tracking actual weight and quantities produced. Track coil and sheet remnants (coil end pieces) or rejects via spreadsheet and make them available to the Commercial Department for potential negotiations. Monitor dispatch and return of roofing sheets for third-party lamination. Balance workloads across production stages, considering installed capacity, sequencing, and available inputs, aiming to meet deadlines, quantities, and productivity targets. Re-sequence and rebalance workloads when deviations occur, following instructions from immediate supervisors to ensure adherence to pre-established master plans. Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plans for production equipment. Contract and oversee corrective maintenance performed on equipment as needed. Manage inventory of spare parts for maintenance and repairs, purchasing when necessary. Control inventory of consumables such as labels, ribbons, raffia bags, colored tapes, load-lifting straps, gloves, binding tapes, seals, and corner protectors, and purchase as required.
