Job Summary: Cashier professional responsible for scanning and charging items, receiving payments, issuing receipts and invoices, and keeping the cash register organized while serving customers and supporting store operations. Receive payments in cash, credit card, debit card, or meal vouchers. Issue fiscal receipts and coupons. Perform end-of-shift cash register closing, verifying balance and fiscal documents. Keep the cash register orderly and clean. Serve and guide customers in a friendly and effective manner. Check product expiration dates and verify prices. Assist with organizing and restocking products on shelves when necessary. Previous experience as a Cashier, Cash Operator, Sales Assistant, or Cash Receptionist may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
