We enable IT solutions that ensure harmonious operation among business-supporting systems, maintaining a structured and technologically up-to-date application architecture while meeting business requirements with high availability and performance. Work model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite Locations: Alphaville – SP; Osasco – SP; Curitiba – PR; Uberlândia – MG; Recife – PE **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** As a COBOL Tech Lead, you will work within the Checking Account Management area, performing the following key activities: * Analyze, design, and develop Mainframe solutions in COBOL (batch and online), CICS, orchestrating JCL for batch workloads and integrating with DB2; * Evolve and maintain legacy applications and critical transactional services (e.g., accounts, credit, cards, collections, payments), ensuring reliability, performance, and observability; * Model and optimize DB2 SQL, indexes, and access plans; perform tuning and incident resolution; * Practice agile engineering: actively participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (where applicable to the Mainframe context); * Document solutions, support UAT and rollouts, and share knowledge with peers; **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related fields; * COBOL (batch and online), JCL, DB2 (SQL, performance), CICS (transactions), and Control\-M; * TSO/ISPF, VSAM (KSDS), utilities (IDCAMS, IEBCOPY, SORT, etc.); * Development/diagnostic support tools: File\-AID, Abend\-AID and/or XPEDITER (or equivalents); * Development/diagnostic support tools: File\-AID, Abend\-AID and/or XPEDITER (or equivalents); * Version control and CI/CD pipeline tools: ChangeMan and, preferably, Git (GitHub/Bitbucket) applied to Mainframe artifacts; Bonus qualifications include: * Prior experience in financial institutions (preferred), especially with mission-critical and highly regulated systems; * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), backlog grooming, estimation techniques, and metrics (lead time, throughput, WIP); * Public Cloud: fundamentals of AWS/Azure/GCP (IAM, networking, storage, VMs); Mainframe–Cloud integration (APIs, messaging, data offload, observability); **What We Offer** At Bradesco, we value health and well-being, offering an extensive portfolio of benefits to all our employees: * Profit Sharing (PLR) or Bonus: Based on position eligibility\* * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Meal Voucher * Food Voucher * 13th Food Basket * Total Pass * Transportation Voucher (optional enrollment) * Discounts on products and services offered by partner companies * Private Pension Plan (optional enrollment, with financial contribution from Bradesco Organization) * Bradesco Well-Being Program: health, well-being, and quality-of-life initiative * Unibrad: Bradesco Corporate University * Fee Waiver: special conditions across various products and services * Childcare or Babysitter Allowance * Extended Paternity Leave: 20 days * Maternity Leave: 180 days, including supportive assistance throughout pregnancy and postpartum
