Recording of productivity, operational times, and incidents **Job Description:** ---------------------- Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and recording all operational activities related to general cargo loading and unloading aboard vessels. Acts as a liaison between ground crew, vessel command, port operator, stevedores, and other stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. Main Responsibilities: Monitor general cargo loading and unloading operations, ensuring adherence to the operational plan and safety regulations. Maintain direct communication with the Chief Officer, Master, agent, and port operator to align activities. Record daily productivity, operational times, stoppages, and any incidents (e.g., weather conditions, cargo damage, operational failures). Supervise proper cargo handling to ensure preservation, integrity, and documentary compliance. Control and report the quantity of loaded/unloaded cargo units (mates receipt, tally, operational reports). Assist in coordinating the stevedore team and support resolution of operational issues. Prepare operational reports, spreadsheets, and communications for submission to clients and responsible parties. **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ English: Intermediate level (conversational and reading proficiency for communication with ship command, document completion, and reporting). Microsoft Office: Intermediate level (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proven experience in port operations Knowledge of APPAWEB and Siscomex Carga TPA scheduling Basic knowledge of safety regulations (NR\-29, ISPS, NORMAM) is desirable. Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by operational needs.
