




Job Summary: A professional responsible for executing, controlling, and ensuring compliance with all tax routines, operating strategically within a large-scale metallurgical industry. Integration with various internal departments The professional will be responsible for executing, controlling, and ensuring compliance with all the company’s tax routines—from issuance and consultation to calculation and closing procedures—operating strategically within a large-scale metallurgical industry, ensuring correct adherence to tax legislation, accuracy of tax information, and efficiency of internal processes. They will work collaboratively with Accounting, Finance, Billing, Logistics, Operations, and COMEX departments, requiring technical mastery of tax routines and the ability to implement, review, and optimize existing tax processes and operational practices. Record, import, analyze, advise on issuance, and verify input, output, and service invoices; Verify CFOPs, CSTs, types of transactions, and tax classifications, including those related to imports and exports; Perform monthly tax closing, ensuring deadlines and legal compliance, especially under the cash basis regime; Calculate direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS\-ST, DIFAL, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, among others); Issue, verify, and monitor ad hoc tax payment slips; Provide technical support to internal departments regarding correct application of tax legislation; Manage, review, and improve existing tax processes; Implement new tax routines and internal controls when necessary; Work with ERP systems, preferably SAP (currently under implementation), ensuring integrity of tax-related information.
