Job Summary:
Responsible for technical control and standardization of painting and chemical treatment processes, including defect prevention, parameter monitoring, and operator training.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for technical control and standardization of painting and chemical treatment processes, including preparation and control of paints, powders, and chemical baths.
* Engages in defect prevention and analysis,
* Controls critical process parameters—curing, thickness, and adhesion—to ensure traceability, stability, and technical compliance.
* Conducts monitoring, recordkeeping, trend analysis, and non-conformance resolution; trains operators; ensures safety best practices (SDS/GHS); and supports environmental control.
* Serves as the technical focal point for suppliers, conducting tests, validations, audits, and continuous improvements aimed at reducing failures, rework, and costs.
**Requirements:**
* Education: Completed Chemistry Technician program.
* Practical experience in an industrial environment, preferably in surface treatment, pickling, passivation, and/or industrial painting.
* Ability to read and apply technical data sheets and SDS.
* Knowledge of applied chemistry for industrial baths (acidic/alkaline solutions, contamination, drag-out, replenishment, stability).
* Knowledge of industrial paints (dilution, catalysis, viscosity, pot life, contamination) and fundamentals of powder coating (application/curing/defects).
* Ability to control processes using operational measurements and disciplined recordkeeping.
* Proficiency in Excel for controls, trend analysis, and simple indicators.
**Additional Information:**
Position is for the administrative shift, with easy access to the Afonso Pena area in São José dos Pinhais.

Compensation: R$3\.500,00 per month
