Strong utilization of data, systems, and processes **Position: Planning Engineer** **About the Role** Strategic involvement in construction planning, budgeting, and control to ensure cost, schedule, and revenue predictability. This is an interface role bridging engineering, construction site, design, and management, with strong emphasis on data, systems, and processes. **Main Responsibilities** * Analyze construction costs, schedules, revenues, and KPIs via BI. * Develop and maintain the standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for budgets and planning. * Develop and update the database of resources, service compositions, and productivity rates in Sienge. * Prepare detailed construction budgets in WBS format. * Prepare, review, and update physical\-financial construction schedules. * Input schedules into Sienge and link them to budgets. * Monitor construction progress by comparing actual vs. planned performance. * Conduct monthly forecasts of construction costs and revenues. * Support site engineers with technical, cost, and planning analyses. * Manage development and coordination of execution designs. * Collaborate with designers, installers, and clients to define and coordinate designs. * Prepare construction change order spreadsheets. * Register change orders in budgets and contracts within Sienge. * Analyze and compare budget versions to identify variances and opportunities. * Conduct design improvement studies to optimize cost, schedule, and quality. * Support construction sites in quantity takeoffs. * Verify client contract measurements, schedules, and change orders in Sienge. * Ensure all measurements and contractual information are accurately entered into the system. * Contribute to continuous development and improvement of engineering and construction processes. **Desired Qualifications** * Degree in Civil Engineering (or related fields). * Experience in construction planning, budgeting, and control. * Proficiency in WBS, scheduling, and detailed budgeting. * Experience with Sienge (budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and measurements). * Strong analytical ability, organizational skills, and communication. * Collaborative mindset, hands-on approach, and results-oriented. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with BI applied to engineering. * Experience on medium- and large-scale construction projects. * Prior experience in standardizing engineering processes.
