Engineering Assistant – Construction Projects

Job Summary: This position supports the engineer in monitoring service execution, recording progress, performing measurements, controlling materials, and assisting with team communication and guidance. Responsibility for completing the Daily Construction Report (RDO) and preparing reports. * Support the engineer in monitoring service execution according to project plans and schedules. * Record progress across work fronts. * Conduct field measurements (area measurements, volume calculations, material quantities). * Assist in quantifying materials for procurement requests and control receipt and storage; * Verify invoices and compare against delivered items. * Proactively assess material replenishment needs. * Request purchases and track orders. * Complete **RDO (Daily Construction Report)** and assist in preparing other reports. * Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety regulations. * Facilitate communication between the engineer and work fronts. * Guide third-party teams on project-compliant execution. * Perform basic reading of architectural and complementary drawings (hydraulic, electrical, structural).
