Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirements gathering and system analysts' analyses. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs 2. Works with requirements gathering and system analysis 3. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to acquire new knowledge Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Surveys (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and occupation, and others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are looking for a Junior Programmer to be responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirements gathering and analyses conducted by system analysts. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuring and using GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server tools; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with the OpenLayers or Leaflet library. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to periodically acquire new knowledge.
