Join this team. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Identify procurement needs for materials and services required by agricultural and industrial operations; * Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, delivery timelines, and product/service quality; * Evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, service, and reliability; * Maintain an updated database of qualified suppliers; * Issue quotations, negotiate terms, place purchase orders, and track order status through final delivery; * Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures; * Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, pursuing continuous improvement; * Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers; * Analyze market trends and supply-demand conditions to forecast future pricing; * Collaborate with other departments—including production, maintenance, and quality—to ensure efficient fulfillment of all requirements; * Participate in defining procurement strategies; * Prepare periodic procurement activity reports and present them to management. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields; * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Experience in the sugarcane-energy sector; * Experience in the Supply Chain/Procurement area; * Driver’s license (Category B) preferred. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** --------------- * Health insurance plan; * Dental insurance plan; * Group life insurance; * On-site cafeteria meals; * Employee association; * Housing units under loan agreement (available at select locations); * Incentive program; * Meal allowance.
