Support in supplier qualification and inventory management The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the procurement department in supplier negotiations, purchase order control, and monitoring the acquisition process of materials and services. The role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure timely supply of inputs according to company requirements, focusing on delivery timelines, quality, and cost-effectiveness. * Conduct quotations and negotiations with suppliers; * Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery deadlines; * Update and maintain the supplier database; * Monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels of materials; * Support the qualification process of new suppliers; * Perform follow-up on purchase orders and deliveries; * Monitor supplier performance and report deviations; * Assist in preparing procurement reports and departmental KPIs.
