The Construction Laboratory Assistant is responsible for assisting the laboratory technician in controlling and ensuring the quality of technological control of materials and services used in construction projects. Their duties involve sample collection, preparation, and testing, as well as recording information on forms and logs. **Responsibilities and duties** * Collect and prepare samples, and perform tests on materials used in highway construction, such as soil, crushed stone, CAUQ, asphalt binders, asphalt emulsions, granular mixtures, Portland cement concrete, among others; * Properly store and identify samples to ensure traceability; * Measure application rates of materials for services such as tack coats, prime coats, surface treatments, micro-asphalt surfacing, among others; * Assist in field service approvals in accordance with the Quality Manual's Service Inspection Procedures; * Support technicians in interpreting results and preparing reports; * Complete forms, record results and field occurrences as specified in the Quality Manual, ensuring organization and traceability of information; * Assist in all activities related to quality control of executed services; * Ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of instruments and materials used in testing; * Verify that the work site is properly marked with signs and cones according to the construction signage project and Signage Manual; * Work in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education/Experience:** * High school diploma completed. **Specific knowledge/Skills:** * Experience in road infrastructure projects (earthworks, drainage, paving, OAE, slope stabilization) is desirable; * Experience in technological control processes (laboratory) is desirable; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Additional information** **Residence in Campo Largo or surrounding region.
