**About This Role**
Support the development, technical support, and optimization of industrial bioprocesses for biological products (inoculants and/or biopesticides), ensuring robustness, reproducibility, and operational efficiency, with strong interface with the production area.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide technical support to the manufacturing plant during biological product production, ensuring compliance with process parameters.
* Monitor industrial batches, tracking performance and ensuring proper execution of production steps.
* Investigate process deviations (e.g., contamination, performance variation, CFU reduction), conduct root cause analyses, and propose corrective actions.
* Lead and support scale\-up activities (lab-scale, pilot-scale, and industrial-scale), ensuring process reproducibility.
* Adjust and optimize fermentation parameters to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Perform and interpret physicochemical and microbiological analyses.
* Analyze process data (including basic statistics) and monitor operational KPIs.
* Collaborate with Production to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
* Validate and approve raw materials used in the production process.
* Evaluate the impact of industrial variables on bioprocess performance.
* Draft and review technical reports, protocols, and work instructions (WIs).
* Work collaboratively with Production, Quality Control (QC), Procurement, and other departments.
* Ensure compliance with quality, traceability, safety, and good practice requirements.
* Support process validation, technology transfer, and technical audits.
**Requirements**
* **Education:** Degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, or related fields.
* Strong foundation in applied microbiology and industrial fermentation.
* Experience cultivating microorganisms.
* Hands-on experience operating and/or monitoring bioreactors.
* Knowledge of microbiological techniques (counting, purity, etc.).
* Experience analyzing and interpreting process data.
* Knowledge of bioprocess development and optimization.
* Understanding of Critical Process Parameters (CPPs).
* Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Basic knowledge of SAP.
* Prior experience in biological, agribusiness, or industrial biotechnology companies.
* Experience with fermentative processes in other sectors (food, enzymes, microbiological inputs).
