Participate in scheduled meetings and planned shutdowns with customers. **Are you seeking a new opportunity in your professional career?** If you are a dedicated professional with strong teamwork orientation, constantly pursuing new challenges and learning opportunities, this position is perfect for you! **Your key tasks and responsibilities:** * Serve as Valmet's on-site resident engineer in Imperatriz/MA. * Prepare reports on services delivered to our customers, providing technical support to customers and relaying information to relevant Valmet personnel. * Stay updated and informed regarding consumer market needs and possibilities, identifying opportunities to ensure Valmet’s and its products’ continued market presence. * Identify on-site project requirements to establish appropriate support mechanisms for the sales team. * Conduct daily technical activities at customer sites, including participation in customer meetings, Daily Safety Stand-ups (DDS), planned shutdowns, and general shutdowns. * Collect technical information from customers, formatting and consolidating it to support the sales team and the MSM. * Participate in equipment evaluations, identifying problems and solutions to support repair processes and/or warranty cases. * Monitor and perform follow-up on open proposals, engaging with customers to obtain necessary information for closing business deals. * Collaborate with other internal departments, exchanging technical and commercial information to meet customer needs and achieve Valmet’s objectives. * Apply Valmet products and consumables to optimize technical solutions and address field-related issues concerning Valmet products. * Suggest modifications and improvements to equipment and provide feedback to the Valmet team. * Participate in commissioning and maintenance of equipment manufactured by Valmet. * Attend daily customer meetings to proactively identify Valmet’s needs and opportunities. * Participate in and develop schedules for planned and general shutdowns, leveraging Valmet’s expertise to deliver “Turn-Key” packages for general shutdowns (PGs); Support and audit customer inventory, thereby supporting and accelerating our spare parts business. * **To succeed in this role, it is important that you have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Production, Chemical, or related fields. * Experience in pre-sales, feasibility studies, budgeting, technical-commercial relationship management, equipment project engineering, product application engineering, and training delivery. * Experience in equipment assembly or maintenance, and in product application projects. * Minimum intermediate level of English proficiency. * Technical knowledge of the pulp, paper, or tissue industry; * Planning skills, e.g., maintenance planning, process planning, and renewal strategies; * Willingness to travel occasionally; Residence in the Imperatriz/MA region. * **What We Offer** We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation and suits individuals with a development mindset who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
