**General Description:** The Carpentry Manager is responsible for leading and organizing all carpentry operations, from production planning to final furniture delivery. Ensures efficiency, quality, safety, and deadline compliance, while promoting integration between technical teams, designers, and other company departments. **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate carpenters, assemblers, assistants, and machine operators. * Plan, organize, and control the production activities of custom and serial furniture. * Monitor production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. * Set execution priorities according to project and customer demands. * Manage inventory of materials (MDF, hardware, finishes, supplies) and request restocking when necessary. * Implement and monitor quality and finish standards. * Ensure proper use of machinery, tools, and PPE, complying with safety regulations. * Support team development through technical training and best production practices. * Act as liaison between design, purchasing, sales, and logistics departments. * Seek continuous improvements in production processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. **Requirements:** * Proven experience in carpentry and/or furniture production management (minimum 3 to 5 years). * Technical knowledge in reading and interpreting designs (AutoCAD, Promob, SketchUp or similar). * Proficiency in MDF, solid wood, hardware, and finishing manufacturing processes. * Leadership skills and conflict management experience. * Strong organizational, planning, and results-oriented abilities. * Understanding of cost control and waste reduction. * Preferred: Technical degree in carpentry, industrial management, production engineering, or related fields. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Team leadership and motivation. * Systemic thinking and results focus. * Clear and assertive communication. * Ability to make decisions under pressure. * Organization, discipline, and proactivity. * Commitment to quality and deadlines. **Compensation and Benefits** * Benefits: performance-based bonus (when monthly targets are met) * Working hours: Monday to Friday, business hours (with possibility of overtime during production peaks).
