What is the position?
High School and Elementary School Chemistry Teacher \- RP 18486 \- FIEP System (FIEP, SESI, SENAI, and IEL)
What are the challenges and main responsibilities?
Plan, organize, and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum matrix and active learning methodologies adopted by SESI School.
Design and administer assessments, hands-on activities, and didactic workshops.
Develop and conduct experimental activities in the Science/Chemistry laboratory, ensuring safety and pedagogical quality.
Record grades and attendance within established deadlines, following institutional guidelines.
Participate in collective events, pedagogical meetings, councils, and internal training sessions.
Prepare teaching materials, resources, and innovative, technology-oriented lesson sequences.
Contribute to school projects, academic events, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
Ensure the organization of teaching spaces, as well as proper care of laboratory equipment and materials.
Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and subject-matter expertise.
Maintain an ethical, collaborative attitude aligned with the FIEP System’s educational mission.
**Requirements:**
What are the main requirements?
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education;
A postgraduate degree (lato or stricto sensu) in the field is desirable and will be considered a differentiating factor.
Prior teaching experience in High School.
A driver’s license (Category B) is desirable.
For internal candidates, eligibility criteria per PL 0031 (4.2.3) must be met.

**Working hours:** As required by the unit \- 7 hours per week

**Employment type:** Indefinite-term CLT contract
