Carry out repairs on damaged structures, such as chassis, platforms, and supports. Prepare surfaces for welding (cleaning, cutting, grinding). Use different welding processes (MIG, TIG, coated electrode, among others). Inspect the quality of performed welds and correct imperfections. Assist in the fabrication of metal components and supports as needed. Comply with safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain workplace and tool organization. Previous experience as Assembler, Welding Operator, Welding Technician, or Metalworker may indicate suitability for some of the activities in this position. High school diploma required.
