Focus on quality and attention to detail Legião da Boa Vontade – LBV is hiring a **Cook**: The **Cook** is responsible for preparing meals, performing cooking and final plating of dishes, following strict hygiene and food safety standards at the Institution’s Unit. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Prepare varied meals and specific diets—seasoning, cooking, baking—to compose specific menus. * Guide and supervise kitchen assistant staff to ensure production efficiency and quality. * Accurately and consistently follow nutritionist instructions and recipes. * Adjust seasonings and flavors to guarantee final product quality. * Meet production demands within deadlines and with quality assurance. * Operate various industrial kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, boilers). * Maintain, clean, and ensure proper upkeep of kitchen equipment and utensils. * Use of PPE. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed high school; **Preferred experience:** In kitchens; * Experience cooking at scale; * Knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes; * Knowledge of good food handling practices and food safety; * Ability to lead and supervise a team; * Attention to detail and focus on quality. **Additional Information** * Workload: **220 hours/month** * Schedule: 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM (Monday to Friday) **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * On-site meals; * Life insurance; * Health plan—upon confirmation; * Dental plan—upon confirmation; * SESC membership; * Discounts at gyms and sports facilities—Wellhub; * Educational partnerships offering discounts on courses and universities; * Training and professional development program.
